I invite you to pause for a moment. Step away from the rhythm, schedules, and constant decisions. Gather together in the cozy "Keramista" loft, right in the heart of Palanga. This workshop for a collective is not about results, but about being present – hands in clay, slow conversation, and silence that sometimes says more than words.
How does it work?
The experience is suitable for everyone: both those who will touch clay for the first time and those who have already tried to create. We do not aim for academic precision; we seek creative impulse.
Theme: We sculpt on one chosen theme, which we agree upon with you in advance. This helps the entire team focus on a common process, maintaining creative unity.
Sculpting: We work by hand with white clay. Everyone will create as much as time and desire allow.
Process: This is a one-time session where we both sculpt and decorate. We will look for textures, ornament, and carve. You will decorate your creations with colorful clay appliqués or underglaze paints.
Atmosphere: You can bring your own snacks. In the studio, you will find specialty coffee, tea, still water, sweet snacks, a glass of wine, and all necessary utensils for a cozy gathering.
Result
After the workshop, I will take care of all the technical aspects: the works are dried, fired, glazed with a clear glossy glaze, and fired again in the kiln.
The finished pieces are ready in about 3 weeks. You can collect them at the studio or receive them by mail. I will personally inform you when the works are ready.
Practical information:
Number of participants: from 5 to 15 people.
Duration: about 3 hours of creative time.
Location: "Keramista" studio, Ganyklų st. 6, Palanga.
Invoices: if an invoice is needed in the company's name, please inform in advance.
Photos/Videos: I photograph and film moments, and after the event, I send photos and short videos as a memento.
About me: I am Laura Vyšniauskaitė – a ceramicist and creator. I believe that creativity is not a task or a duty. My studio is a place where you can create without pressure. Slowly. At your own pace.
