CLAY MODELING CLASS | A one-time touch. Form. Matte aesthetics.

I invite you to the "Keramista" studio – a space where everything begins with a basic lump of clay. This activity is for those who want to feel the material, relax, and concentrate on pure form. This format is especially suitable for sculpture, decorative objects, or interior details where you want to maintain a natural, bisque (matte) texture.

How does it work?

We will not use glazes. All our time will be dedicated to creating form, sculpturality, and exploring authentic surfaces.

Modeling: We work by hand with white clay. The focus is on your handiwork, tool marks, and feeling the form.

Decor: You can decorate the pieces with clay paints (engobes) or underglaze paints, which add color but do not cover the natural properties of the clay or its matte surface.

Atmosphere: The tranquility of the studio, specialty coffee, tea, or a glass of wine, and time for yourself. No judgment, just your connection with the clay.

Result

The sculpted piece remains in the studio to dry and is then fired once. After firing, you will receive a matte, natural clay-colored piece. It is ideal as an interior accent, but please note that without a glaze layer, it is not resistant to direct contact with water.

You can collect the finished work at the studio or have it sent by post in approximately 2–3 weeks. I will inform you personally about this.

Duration: 2 hours of creation.

Number of participants: up to 10 people per group.

Location: "Keramista" studio, Ganyklų g. 6, Palanga.

Photo/Video: I photograph and film the moments, and after the event, I send photos and short videos as a memento.
