I invite you to the "Keramista" studio – a cozy loft right in the heart of Palanga. This is a place for those who want not only to touch clay but also to understand its entire transformation process. There is no "right" or "wrong" here – the process itself, tranquility, and the object created by your hands are what matters. The experience is suitable for everyone: beginners and advanced.
How does it work?
This is a two-stage journey where you will get acquainted with the basics of ceramics, textures, and the magic of colors.
First meeting (Sculpting): We work with white clay. We form volume, ornament, carve, look for textures, or try the sgraffito technique. We decorate with clay figures, carvings, or colored engobes.
Break: After the first session, your creation is dried and fired in a kiln. This takes time – we take a 2-3 week break between the first and second meetings.
Second meeting (Glazing): You return to your fired work. This time we work with various glazes and underglaze paints, giving the creation its final look and colors.
Atmosphere: The studio is as cozy as home. Here you will always find specialty coffee, tea, a glass of wine, and sweet snacks.
Result
After the second (glaze) firing, your work will be ready for use. You can pick up your creation at the studio or receive it by mail approximately 2 weeks after glazing. I will personally inform you when your work is ready.

Duration: Each session is 2 hours long.
Number of participants: up to 10 people per group.
Location: "Keramista" studio, Ganyklų g. 6, Palanga.
Photo/Video: I photograph and film the moments, and after the event, I send photos and short videos for remembrance.
About me: I am Laura Vyšniauskaitė – a ceramicist and creator. I believe that creativity belongs to everyone, even if you are holding clay for the first time. My studio is a place where you can create without pressure. Authentically. At your own pace. Create an object that will have your story.
